Alicia Henry, Principal, is passionate about instructional leadership and ensuring that all students have access to Great Teachers and Great Leaders.

Alicia Henry's Bio:

Alicia Henry has been an educator for 29years. Before becoming Middle School Principal for Carthage Central School District, Alicia worked as a Network Team Specialist for the Jefferson-Lewis BOCES in Watertown, New York. Alicia has also worked as an Elementary Principal for Grades Pre-K thru 4. Alicia experienced success in working collaboratively with her instructional staff to implement a data-driven instructional model which resulted in increased achievement for all students and recognition from the US Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School in 2009. She began her career in preschool as both a Speech and Language Therapist and then a Special Education Teacher. She has also taught elementary special education and has been a Principal at the intermediate level. In addition, Alicia was a CPSE/CSE Chairperson overseeing a special education population of approximately 600 students. She has credible experience in effective leadership, instruction, curriculum, scheduling, character education, special education, literacy, common core learning standards and data-driven instruction.
